Election of Chair of the Planning Committee

Councillors are asked to elect the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the 2020/21 Municipal Year.

Minutes:

The Chairman informed the Committee that, as was advised by the Monitoring Officer at Council on Tuesday 9 June, the Election of Chair would be postponed until after the Annual Council meeting had taken place.

Election of Vice-Chair of the Planning Committee

Councillors are asked to elect the Vice Chairman of the Planning Committee for the 2020/21 Municipal Year.

To confirm and sign as a correct record the minutes of the Meeting held on 21 May 2020.

Minutes:

An amendment to minute number 158 of the meeting on 21 May 2020, to include Cllr M Brooke in the list of Ward Councillors who gave a verbal representation, was agreed.

The minutes were then approved for signing as an accurate record.

The deadline for the submission of requests to speak is 12 noon on Wednesday 10 June. Requests should be submitted to Democratic Services using the contact details on the front of this agenda.

Minutes:

There were several public statements received relating to the applications considered by the Planning Committee. As per the Protocol for Public Speaking, the Democratic Officer read out the written statements before the Chairman invited those Ward Councillors who had requested to speak, to address the Committee.

minutes in the Minute Book. Further to this the Committee received an

update sheet in relation to the applications, a copy of which had been

circulated and appears as Appendix F to these minutes in the Minute Book.
