Purpose:
The Future Parks project is an externally funded accelerator project that seeks to make Greenspaces more sustainable,
3 'Pilot Parks' have been created to trial and test activation and interventions that can provide an uplift to the spaces, reversing the spiral of decline and evidence how we could manage Greenspaces differently in the future.
This report provides detail on the work to-date and next steps.
Decision:
To continue with the implementation of the Pilot Parks concept and delivery of the masterplans.
Reasons for the decision:
Continuing to deliver the Future Parks project and enable practical improvements.
