In light of the proposals in the Levelling Up White Paper, to discuss the opportunities for BCP Council regarding devolution and make a recommendation

Decision:

RESOLVED that Cabinet: -

(a)    Approved the continuation of exploratory work relating to devolution until such time as a final decision is required;

(b)   Requested a further report is brought back to Cabinet

Voting: Unanimous

Reason

Further work is required to fully understand the options available to the Council before a final decision can be made.
