Cllr Canavan – risk – will chief exec have to approve without going to council

CE – it is a scenario which could happen

Cllr Earl – do an all members briefing if we cant hold a council meeting

Could we hold a confidential council meeting in pre election

RJ – technically we could – all member briefing and informal vote

Cllr Earl – much rather all councillors were informed

Cllr Rampton – hope the adjudication comes down on the councils side

Cllr Hadley – involved from an early stage. Private meeting – there isn’t really a decision for us to have but an all member briefing would ensure everyone is informed

Cllr Martin – confidentiality after decision is made

CE – confidentiality today – talks about our legal case and strength of case. Prepare briefing note for members after today

After adjudication

Amena – remains a commercial – would have to keep confidential – value of claim will need to remain confidential

Cllr Martin – does the whole thing remain confidential forever?

Cllr Earl –

Cllr Rampton – people may do the digging and find out

Kelly – comms handling plan – comms team at a senior level are engaged in this
