Councillors are required to comply with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 regarding disclosable pecuniary interests. Declarations received will be reported at the meeting.

To receive any public questions or statements submitted in accordance with the Constitution.

The deadline for the submission of public questions is 10.00 am on Thursday 31 January 2019.

The deadline for the submission of a statement is 12.00 noon, Tuesday 5 February 2019.

To consider the following resolution in order for the Senior Appointments Committee to consider the non-public item on the agenda.

“That under Section 100(A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 4 in Part 1 of Schedule 12 A of the Act and that the public interest in withholding the information outweighs such interest in disclosing the information.”

The Senior Appointments Committee, following the respective selection processes, is asked to make recommendations to the Shadow Authority identifying preferred candidates in respect of the following positions:-

a)    Chief Finance Officer (Section 151 Officer)

b)    Monitoring Officer

Description of exempt information

Paragraph 1 – Information relating to any individual.

Paragraph 2 – Information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.

Paragraph 4 – Information relating to any consultations or negotiations, or contemplated consultations or negotiations, in connection with any labour relations matter arising between the authority or a Minister of the Crown and employees of, or office holders under, the authority.
