The minutes from the meeting held on 14 March 2019 were confirmed and signed by the Chairman.

HR Appeal - reconvened from the meeting adjourned on 14 February 2019

Members will refer to the non-public report circulated prior to the meeting on 14 February 2019.

Minutes:

The Board resumed the appeal against dismissal following adjournment of the hearing on 14 February 2019.

 

In considering the appeal, the Board had regard to all the supporting information provided by the named appellant and the Local Authority in report ‘D’, circulated at a previous meeting. Supporting information included verbal submissions made by the appellant, their representative and by the Local Authority at the meeting.

 

 

DECISION MADE:

 

That the personnel appeal was not upheld. The Board agreed that the Council management had acted reasonably and that the dismissal was an appropriate course of action.
