Christchurch Harbour Kitchen Limited has submitted an application for a premises licence in respect of premises located at Christchurch Quay.

The application seeks authorisation for the sale of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises between 11:00 and 22:30, seven days a week.

Five representations have been received from other persons. The representations raise concerns that granting the application may undermine the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm.

Mr Berkcan Altun has submitted an application for a premises licence in respect of premises at 4-6 Bournemouth Road, Poole.

The application seeks authorisation for the playing of Live Music on Sunday - 14:00 to 18:00, the playing of Recorded Music from Sunday to Thursday - 10:00 to 00:00 and Friday and Saturday - 10:00 to 03:00 and the Supply of Alcohol from Sunday to Thursday - 10:00 to 23:30 and Friday and Saturday - 10:00 to 02:30.

The Licensing Authority received one representation from Environmental Health on the grounds of Public Nuisance and nineteen representations from other persons on the grounds that granting the application may undermine the licensing objectives of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm.

With the agreement of both Mr Gordan, the Premises Licence Holder, and Dorset Police, the objector to the Temporary Event Notice, the Sub-Committee resolved to adjourn consideration of the Temporary Event Notice until 15 September 2026. The Sub-Committee considered that an adjournment was appropriate in the interests of procedural fairness, to allow Dorset Police a reasonable opportunity to review and assess the substantial information concerning the proposed event that had been submitted on the morning of the hearing.
