The IRO annual report sets out information in respect of BCPs Children in Care and the performance of the IRO Service. The report includes our response to the question asked by members of the board, regarding the Bright Spots report. A highlight summary is also available.

The Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and National Minimum Standards require all Fostering Services to provide an annual report of their activities and set out the aims and objectives of the service and the facilities they provide. The summary gives a short overview of service progression and areas for development going forward.

To consider and amend the Board’s Forward Plan as appropriate.

The following items are for information for Corporate Parenting Board members. There will not be time allocated at the meeting for discussion of these items unless notification is received in advance of the meeting of questions or comments. Quarterly updating performance data summary for children in Care and Care Experienced young people open to BCP Council.

To provide an update on the compliments, complaints and representations made to BCP Council about Children’s Services during 2024-25.

The Board is asked to note the future dates arranged for meetings of the Board as follows:
