To confirm and sign as a correct record the minutes of the Licensing Committee meeting held on 20 May 2026 and the Licensing Sub Committee meetings held on 13 May, 3, 23 June, 8, 10, 21 July, and 5 August 2026.

The deadline for the submission of a public question is midday 11 September 2026 [midday 3 clear working days before the meeting].

The deadline for the submission of a public statement is midday 16 September 2026 [midday the working day before the meeting].

The deadline for the submission of a petition is 3 September 2026 [10 working days before the meeting].

The standard conditions attached to Sex Establishment Licences were adopted following the formation of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in 2019 and have remained largely unchanged since that time.

Officers recommend that a review of the current conditions is supported by members to ensure they remain relevant, effective and reflective of current operational practices, licensing standards and regulatory expectations.

Officers have identified a number of conditions where the wording is outdated, lacks sufficient clarity, duplicates legislative requirements or does not adequately reflect current safeguarding and operational practices.

To consider, amend as required and agree the Committee’s proposed Forward Plan.
