The outcome of the Community Governance Review undertaken between October 2024 and October 2025 resulted in the establishment of three new town councils for Broadstone, Poole and Bournemouth and the alteration of the parish and/or ward boundaries in Christchurch, Hurn and Highcliffe & Walkford. No changes were made to the existing parishes of Burton & Grange and Throop & Holdenhurst.
The formal Reorganisation Orders for each area, together with maps for each parish and parish ward (where applicable) are available for each area listed below. To allow the detail of the boundaries to be viewable, the map files are quite large and may take some time to download. Please be patient.
