Articulates a clear, ambitious and inclusive vision for culture for everyone who lives, works and visits the BCP area. It is an outcomes focused 10 year plan, with a clear set of priorities for delivery in the short, medium and long term. The plan is owned by the Cultural Compact, for which the Council is a key facilitating partner.

Consultation process

extensive local engagement over the last 3 years has provided the evidence base to inform the Cultural Plan. The draft Cultural Plan will be 'played back' and further refined with key community groups and organisations toward the end of September, resulting in a final draft Cultural Plan (Working title) by the end of October.
