For Cabinet to approve a pay reward for Social
Work staff and managers in order to stabilise the workforce through
the Recruitment & Retention of qualified SW staff and support
Children's Services to make the necessary service improvements at
pace . The paper recommends a salary offer for Social Work staff
and managers which is competitive to those been offered by
neighbouring authorities who are rated good or outstanding and
where we are experiencing the loss of our current staff
too.
